♥DIY: Give me an easy Swept Bang!♥

Hi, Guys!

Sometimes it is kinda annoying to visit the hairdresser all the time just to trim our fringe and it would probably pricey.

Therefore, we will have to cut...cut...cut... the bangs ourselves! Swept bang is the common bang that everyone has. So, here we go: HOW TO CUT/TRIM SWEPT BANG OURSELVES.

This is roughly how does an uncut/un-trim fringe. Comb and see where is your hair split. Make sure that your hair is completely dry. If you cut your hair while it is still wet, your hair will appear to be shorter when it is dry after the cut. Hair will bounce. =) *Get what I mean?*

Comb all your fringe like the picture shows above, all the way straight. You might need to tight a pony tail for all the hair behind for a neater haircut. Remember, again, no wet hair.

Then, split your hair again in the opposite direction. If you original split is on the left, then for cutting purposes, you have to split for hair in the opposite direction.

Next, comb the hair like above and leave about 1 inch length to the end of the hair. Then, you can start cutting your hair. Note that you have to cut your hair like the arrow shown on the picture above. At this stage, you might want to decide the length of your fringe. Remember, start cutting your hair off a little by little, let say, first cut, 1 cm and check if that is the length of the bang you wanted. Do not cut too much/long because you cannot stick your trimmed hair back.

Done finally! Yay! Friendly advise, if you want your bang to look trendy and nice, then you should have a bang that go over your eyebrow.

♥The Order Goes By 1-2-3!♥

When I was a kid, I love colouring and painting so much and the only thing that I was not really good at was drawing. I draw very ugly pictures and I don't know why! But I managed to use the colours so well. Mixing and shading, judging the intensity of light and how does the colour go, should the shade go darker or lighter and stuff like that. Soon, when I am growing up, my interest has changed! I used to put down the colours and my creativity onto a piece of paper, although my skills were not impressed by most of my teachers but that did not stop me from doing what I like to do. But now, I learnt to put these colours on my face! What a new expensive chicky interest right now! Cuz' you know, all the "tools" would be different! You can get colour brushes just for few bucks but you can't get makeup brushes for like few dollars, can you!? Or maybe you can, cuz' I did get some of those makeup brushes from Ebay with very cheap price but they do not last long for me. So, I ended up spending fortune for a set of better brushes. Cuz' I think I would rather spend like 50 bucks to get a better set, rather than keep buying the cheap one. So, yea and the "colour materials" are damn expensive too! Well, that's alright. Gotta sacrifice in order to keep your beauty! Time and MONEY! Hah, I am right!

So, people, how does your makeup routine go? Or skin care routine? Anything that keep you look young, pretty, nice, beautiful, gorgeous and so on?

For me, I, really, sort of random and depends! See what products do I fancy of using and really depends on my mood to go a bit of eye catching or just natural. So, my routine goes like this:

Before any moisturizer, base or whatever, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CLEAN FACE! After that, put on contact lenses for bigger eyes =) Tricky aye haha but that does really make a huge different I am telling you right now like a girl who just had a 180 degree of turn!

I feel more comfy putting on contact lenses from ColourZoom instead of the one from Kimchi. My eyes will go all red and feel kinda irritating when I am wearing Kimchi for just couple of hours. Sadly, not recommended! =(

So, this one is purple! This colour goes along with my eyes very well because it does not give any freaky look to other!

Next, putting the eyelid stickies to create double eyelid, which gives you bigger eyes as well!

For any makeup, no matter how heavy or light it is, as long as you are going to put on foundation or BB cream, I would put on face primer where it can keep my makeup last longer, cuz' you know, going to Uni, yea could really stay there for like whole day! But, I would not put on heavy makeup though. Just light one sometimes. Normally, I would go natural.

Face primer from BYS and I got it from Gloss. It smells so nice too! =D

Next, I will put on very light layer of BB cream. BB cream is such an amazing creation because it is seriously saved a lot of my time, where you do no have to put on base, then foundation and so on. What's more, BB cream has a strong coverage of the scars and basically lighten up the dark spots on face.

BRTC is my current favourite because it covers up so much of the blemishes and dark spots. It has also whitening effect as well as UV protection as it has SPF of 37. The one from THE SKIN is sorta a bit oily to me and I somehow don't like it that much. While, the one from KATE is basically make up base it does not have a strong BB effect. I guessed I bought it wrongly and somehow misunderstood its function when I am buying it.

So, if I am not using BB cream, I would use Biore UV Perfect Face Milk because it has a strong UV protection, up to SPF 50! While, the Sunkiller has BB effect. Both are cool products!

I have a very huge and nasty dark eye circle, so concealer is a MUST to brighten up the eyes.

Concealer from Maybelline, shade: Sand.

So, next thing I would do is pat some powder all over my face. Sometimes, it is not a must but because the BB cream is so moist, when I step out, dust would come over and attack me! I mean, they would stick on my *moist moist* face and this is not tolerable!

Ecotools have a very good quality of brushes as they are so soft.

Lightly pat the powder all over the face by using the powder/mineral brush by Ecotools. Rimmel has very nice texture and finely soft powder.

This is not a very good photo though but it can clearly see that BRTC really works well! It whiten up the skin tone and the concealer has already covered up my dark eye circle. It still shows though but I can't really help with it because I really have a super big dark eyes circles. All I can do is to lighten it only, the best I could do. =) Hope not so disappointing!

#Tips: Conceal lips as well to give a great contour; pink is the best.

In most makeup, eyes apparently are the most powerful part that can actually affect our whole look. A smart looking eye, sweet and tempting eye, seducing eye and so on. I usually will do a big-eyes-look or most people would say, dolly eyes. The only thing is that I do not usually put fake lashes.

Most of the eyeshadows I used are with natural shades. The most I would go is black.

I use the white shimmering eyeshadow on my eyelid as base so that the colour on top of it would show more and defined. Next, I would use the Peachy colour eyeshadow from Bare minerals and it actually has nearly same shade to my skin.

Eyeliner is not a must but it gives a bigger eye effect as well. Once I used the kohl one (pencil type) but I find it annoyed me so much as it melted and smudged all over my eyelid and it was so freaking retarded. So, I decided to change from kohl to liquid eyeliner where it cools and dry up so fast and it will not melt or smudge. However, I still need kohl one cuz' it is nice to be drawn under eyeline. Any silver or metallic or shimmering eyeshadow in pencil form can be used onto the under eyeline to enhance bigger and brighten eyes. Last but not least, mascara and only apply it lastly on the lashes and normally a few coats to volumise the lashes and lengthen it!

Sparkling Eyeliner from Cyber Color and Pearl Grey Eyeliner from BYS. These are very cool eyeliners! Great as in colour and dry up fairly quickly.

Fair and sweetie cheek looks really attractive. Therefore, pink blush! But it is also depend on the skin tone. Darker skin tone maybe is not suitable to use a pink blush as it will not show the colour. And also, try not to put too much of blush onto the cheek because the eyes are our main character =)

Pink cookie Blush from Etude House comes with cute lil puffy powder applicator.

#Optional: Highlighting - Pearl Pink Bronzer

So, this is an optional. You can either put it on or stop right after blushing. Basically, apply it on the T area and straight down to the tip of the nose. This will give you an effect of more defining nose, somewhat look like you just had rhinoplasty!

#Tips: If you want a slimmer face, contour side face using the darker brown eyeshadow.

Lastly, glossy glossy! Lippie time! As I said before, pink is always the best because it gives the most natural look!

New Concept 新概念

First of all, wish all of you Happy New Year although it is a bit late now but yea. A good way for me start a new post with. And this post and coming posts as well will be a very new concept for me to blog cuz' the content would be different compared to the older posts that I wrote about.

So, it has been awhile since my very last post which has already disappeared now! Yea, I have already deleted all of them because I find that they are so boring and lame and on top of that, I am so lazy to talk about my boring life! And I don't think of anything that is interesting about a student's life except that we do not have any pressure from working society and do not have to struggle to feed the family! Ha! Right! Yea, so nice being student! YAY STUDENT FOREVER!!!

I don't know when, probably start off last few months that I was so addicted and obsessed shopping on Ebay! You know the feeling of waiting the stuff to arrive and the feeling of checking the letter box everyday!?? I don't know about you guys but I really do enjoy that kinda feeling! And what's more, seriously, stuff on Ebay is so freaking CHEAP! No lies! You can get stuff like less than AUD1 or maybe as cheap as that.

Normally I get make up products from Ebay not because of they are cheap ( of course, this is one of the reasons! HAHA! ) It's because I could not get those products over here, in Perth or I could hardly get them. So, Ebay is a very good source to get those products from. But, most importantly, make sure that those products are genuine! Otherwise, my skin would be like sand paper now or being burnt somehow because of these fake products.

Lately, I am so into Korean makeup especially the natural one! Yes! Natural one. Or it could be slightly heavy and I don't really mind. As long as it doesn't look to harsh for me and others and I feel comfy to put them on. Few months ago, probably 2 months or last month, I don't really remember when though, I had tried on some different makeup by putting shimmering or glittering eyeshadow as eyeliner on the bottom of the eyeline. So, I guessed it turned out not too bad.

I could not get Etude House in Perth, So, again the first product I got was from Ebay.

Browse around and have a look if you are interested! I am now waiting anxiously for my stuff to come =) Can't wait anymore, seriously! Bhahahahha!!! And face powder with BB cream from Dodo Palgantong. Hmmm. I heard they were saying that it is so popular in Japan and Korea! Wasn't too sure though until I get to touch it! Ordered and it is on its way coming to Perth too! ♥ ♥ ♥
